Search visibility / audited 2026-07-21

Be easy to find. Be worth citing.

We fix the technical foundation, answer the questions customers actually ask, and make your business legible to both search engines and AI-assisted search. Every claim gets a source or gets softened.

Start with evidence

We record crawl health, priority queries, and current answer citations before recommending work.

Three names for one connected job.

The labels describe different discovery surfaces. The underlying work should still help a person first.

SEO

Search engine optimization

SEO makes a site crawlable, useful, and competitive in traditional search results. It covers technical health, page intent, internal links, local relevance, and the authority earned from other sites.

Measure: Indexed pages, qualified impressions, rankings, and organic leads

AEO

Answer engine optimization

AEO makes a page easy to use when someone asks a precise question. Direct answers, clear headings, supporting detail, and accurate structured data help search and voice systems extract the right passage.

Measure: Featured answers, question-query visibility, and assisted conversions

GEO

Generative engine optimization

GEO improves the chance that AI-assisted search can find, understand, and cite a business. It starts with normal SEO, then adds current facts, named sources, consistent entity information, and useful third-party mentions.

Measure: Brand mentions, cited pages, referral traffic, and answer accuracy

What the work includes.

No mystery bundle and no volume of generated blog posts. The sequence follows the actual bottleneck we find on the site.

01

Crawl and index audit

Robots rules, sitemaps, canonicals, status codes, mobile behavior, speed, and page hierarchy. We fix access before writing more content.

02

Intent and page map

One clear job for every page, backed by the words real customers use. This catches thin pages, overlap, and missing topics.

03

Answer-ready content

Plain definitions, complete explanations, useful comparisons, and FAQs where they help. No keyword stuffing and no AI-bait fragments.

04

Entity and schema layer

Accurate Organization, Service, Article, FAQ, and breadcrumb data that matches what a visitor can actually see on the page.

05

Machine-readable facts

A maintained sitemap, robots policy, llms.txt summary, and plain-text pricing when appropriate. These support discovery; they are not ranking shortcuts.

06

Measurement and refresh

Search Console, analytics, and a repeatable citation check across major answer tools. We record the baseline before claiming improvement.

What we trust

No secret AI ranking switch.

Google says its existing search guidance still applies to AI features. It does not require special AI markup or a separate AI version of a page.

We also publish a concise llms.txt for tools that choose to use it. It is documentation, not a guarantee.

What is the difference between SEO, AEO, and GEO?

SEO targets traditional search visibility. AEO helps a page answer specific questions clearly enough for answer surfaces to extract it. GEO focuses on whether AI-assisted search can understand, trust, and cite the business. They share the same technical and editorial foundation.

Does llms.txt make a site rank in AI answers?

No. llms.txt is a voluntary summary file that can make key pages easier for some non-Google tools to discover. Google says no special AI file or markup is required for AI Overviews. Helpful content, crawl access, accurate facts, and authority still matter more.

Can you guarantee a Google ranking or ChatGPT citation?

No honest provider can. Search and answer systems change, competitors improve, and citations vary by query. We can fix technical barriers, strengthen the evidence on the site, measure visibility, and show exactly what changed.

Do I need a new website?

Not automatically. We audit the existing site first. If the structure is sound, we improve it in place. We recommend a rebuild only when the current platform blocks speed, crawl access, editing, or accurate structured data.

How long does search work take?

Technical fixes can be crawled quickly, but competitive organic growth usually takes months. AI citations can change sooner or later depending on the query and source set. We set a baseline, make the work visible, and report movement without invented timelines.

What does a visibility audit include?

A crawl and index review, metadata and content checks, structured-data validation, local and entity signals, AI crawler access, priority queries, and a written action list ordered by impact and effort.
